Learning how to eat

Anyone that knows me knows I’m mad about wellbeing, tasty food (preferably Vietnamese) and nutrition. For me, it was really logical to combine my love for running with my love of food. 


I noticed it was difficult when I was training, especially for my long distance events, to know what to eat to fuel my training and aide my recovery and when to eat certain foods before, during and after my training runs. In conjunction with your training plan, as a running coach and keen cook, I can create a nutrition plan specific to your needs.  


My plans will not be calorie controlled and will not include cheat or treat days. I don’t believe in this way of eating. They will be based on what your body needs to fuel your training and live a healthy life and be sustainable for your lifestyle. 


My philosophy is based on intuitive eating and combines my life coaching experience with the nutrition courses I am currently studying. Intuitive eating has taught me how to create a healthy relationship with food, mind, and body. It's also a process of making peace with food, so that you no longer have constant ‘food worry’ thoughts or label foods as ‘good’ or ‘bad’.  It’s certainly a way of eating that has helped me and that I know works well.
